# Intro

## What is Insider Wallet?

 An insider wallet is a type of wallet owned by an individual who possesses confidential information about significant fluctuations in token prices.

Typically, insiders do not know the exact limits of future price increases, and only a few have information about when prices will start to decline. Such insiders generally close their transactions at the market peak. To maintain anonymity, insiders often use multiple wallets and avoid storing large amounts in one wallet for long periods.

## Why do we need an insider wallet?

Because we work with the [Solana blockchain](/insider-eye/earnings-on-insiders/about-solana-blockchain.md), transactions based on insider information can generate substantial returns - from 100% to 500%, and in exceptional cases up to 10,000%.
