# How to top up your Solana wallet

We will show the way to deposit the wallet using [Bybit](https://www.bybit.com/) exchange. You can also repeat this on other exchanges. The principle of funding is no different.

First of all, you must register an account with [Bybit](https://www.bybit.com/) and go through verification.

## [Bybit](https://www.bybit.com/) account funding

Now you need to top up your exchange account. You can top up your account via bank card or P2P. In the instructions we will consider funding via P2P.

Go to the P2P page.

In the top menu, we select the `Buy` button which means we want to buy cryptocurrency. By default, the exchange offers to buy <mark style="color:green;">USDT</mark>. So we leave it that way.

Next, choose the currency we are ready to pay for the cryptocurrency and the amount in this currency.

We also need to choose a bank to which we can transfer money for the purchased currency.

## Instructions for Replenishing Balance through P2P

### Selecting an Offer

To begin, you need to select an offer from another user (merchant) who proposes to exchange fiat money for cryptocurrency at a specified rate.

Click `Buy USDT` on the offer we have selected.

Next, we put in the amount we will pay. And we see the amount of USDT we will receive.

It is also important to read the description of the offer. There may be details that need to be taken into account when transferring.

Then we click the `Buy` button

### Agreement and Blocking of Funds

Once you've selected an offer, the seller's funds are temporarily blocked on the exchange to ensure the transaction's security.

### Payment

You must transfer fiat money to the payment details specified by the seller through the available payment systems.

### Confirmation of Receipt of Funds

The seller confirms the receipt of payment, after which the exchange unlocks the cryptocurrency and credits it to your balance.

### Completion of the Transaction

Both parties leave feedback about each other, which affects the ratings of participants on the platform.

## Conversion of purchased USDT to Solana

Before you can send money to your Solana wallet it must be converted to Solana coin.

Go to the assets tab. The purchased USDT are credited to the Funding account.

Next to the total amount on the wallet, there is a button to convert coins.

We've gone to the currency conversion page. We select the first currency `USDT` and the second currency `SOL`.

Enter the amount of `USDT` to `SOL` and click `Get a Quote` button.

The system will display how many Solana coins we will receive at the exchange rate. Click on the `Confirm Transaction` button.

After the conversion is done, click on `View Assets` button.

## Transfer of Solana coins to the wallet&#x20;

As you can see, the Solana coins have cleared out. Next to the coin click on the Withdraw button.

Copy the address of the created wallet in [Solflare](https://solflare.com/).

The minimum withdrawal amount from the exchange to the wallet is 0.21 SOL. This is approximately $30. Therefore, for demonstration I added more Solana coins for $25.

Insert the copied wallet, select the SOL network and specify the transfer amount. Press `Confirm` button.

Check that the data is correct and confirm the transfer by clicking on the `Submit` button. In addition, it is necessary to confirm the transfer using the two-step authentication procedure.

The transfer has been sent.

After a while, the coins will be credited to your [Solflare](https://solflare.com/) wallet. This is one of the possible ways to top up. There are other options as well.
